1 star review for the kitchen service. Sushi taste and presentation is still great. Extreme long waiting time for orders to reach the table. The waitress serving the table did an excellent job. The delay was from the kitchen who seemed to be very disorganized and kept preparing take away food for people who lined up in the restaurant, making the overall seating experience unpleasant. There were in total two tables in the restaurant and yet, food was not coming out. we waited 40 min from the time we handed in the order paper till the sushi came. And we waited another 40 min on round 2. Unfortunately the Østerbro location does not meet the Watami standards compared to other locations in the city and should not be recommended as a dine in sushi restaurant.

We arrived at 21:00 trying to get some food but they already closed ahead although the kitchen is supposed to close at 21:30 and the restaurant at 22:00. I am not sure how nice this is as the opening hours state something different and should either update them or stick with it to avoid confusion and save us the trip.

Mostly I just felt sorry for the waiter. Wasn't trained properly and the food came out at a snail's pace. Some other table dined and dashed, was a crazy night.

Very nice and fresh salmons and tuna sushi. Try the Hummer (cray fish wasabi sushi) . Ebi tempura served hot n crispy. Miso soup is a bit too salty. Reasonably priced at kr267 per person considering its a All- u- can- eat- sushi, just be sure not to have leftovers or u will be charged extra. This watami branch is a bit hidden by the ongoing constructions around it but once u are in the restaurant, it is warm and cozy, with a clean toilet. Friendly staff/owner who also confirmed the menu is pork free and halal.

What happened? This used to be a great value for money and good service too. Today, for the third time, my online order was delayed 30 minutes from what was initially indicated (when starting the order). And when I got there, they seemed confused about my order, where I had placed it etc. And it wasnt ready. After waiting some 10-15 minutes, they found out that it had been ready all the time I was waiting, just sitting on their desk. Got it back home, and all the soy sauce was apparently old, light brown and not tasting right. Really sad, but with service going downhill, I might as well go somewhere else from now on.

The taste is good, the price is affordable compared to the quality. I think they did ther best to serve us good but preparing the food took so long, ao I gave three stars for the service.

Sushi is really good, service could be better. Were asked to leave after 2 hours, hence didn't have time to finish all the sushi and were then fined 100 kr for the leftovers.
