Gr. Færgestræde in Helsingør is a charming and historic street that oozes atmosphere. The old half-timbered houses and cobbled streets create an authentic and cozy atmosphere. The street is full of small shops, cafes and restaurants that offer everything from handicrafts to delicious culinary experiences. It is a pleasure to stroll along the street and explore the different places. Furthermore, the location is fantastic, as the street is close to Kronborg Castle and the beautiful harbour. Gr. Færgestræde is an absolute must-see if you visit Helsingør, and it is an experience that will leave you with lasting impressions.

An incredibly old and beautiful street. Walking along it you feel like a pirate. It seems that this street has not changed since those times.

Gl ferry strait is a really cozy and very narrow strait between Stengade and the parking lot at Strandgade. The houses are whitewashed in a very special ocher yellow colour. Handsome old lamps hang over the strait. At the bottom of the strait, the old "pissing" still runs. There has not been a good smell in the street during the days when it was in use. It can make one think about how good we are today 😉.
