Never in my life have I experienced worse service than at Skovs Biler. Owner Jesper Skov put a desired car on hold yesterday and we had contact several times the day before, which ended with the agreement on a deal the next day. When, as agreed, I drive to him today to buy the car (a 1-hour drive each way), he has sold the car to someone else 30 minutes before. TOTALLY uncomprehending and slightly shocked, I ask him why he had not wanted to honor our agreement, as the impression and expectation was that the car was reserved for me. To that he replied coldly "SORRY IT'S FIRST TO THE MILL" and I could have just arrived when the store opened!! Say what?? Sat in a tight line on the freeway there and certainly didn't imagine he would break our "verbal agreement". I am incredibly disappointed that a quick deal was more important to Jesper than honoring an agreement with another human being. So one thing is certain, I will not buy any car at Skovs Biler in the future, and hereby warn others to do the same. Just thought of a scenario if I had dealt with such an unempathetic and indifferent person, and then suddenly something was wrong with the car...?
