Poor quality control: chipping of wall holes without re-sanding and inadequate finish/edge painting Had painting work carried out in a terraced house in Fensmark of approx. 103 sq m. Job description: Grouting and filling holes. Paint walls 2 times in white gloss 5. Bath in gloss 20. Paint panels and frames in white gloss 40. Afterwards assessed (the painter had 1 week to carry out the work according to agreement) that I was not satisfied with the work carried out, after which I contacted the master painter in the company. My dissatisfaction related to chipping of wall holes (without adequate sanding before repainting) and poor finish/edge painting in some rooms, e.g. around sockets and along edges/panels. After this, the painter trooped up with an assistant and got another chance to "quality control" the work (1-2 hours according to the person concerned's own assessment). Nevertheless, I was still not satisfied with the result, including because of amber plug/nail protrusions left in walls, left spatter on several walls (not removed sufficiently) and (very unfortunate) patchy overpainting of "problem areas" with wet paint in non-wet rooms (!) ...
