I regularly buy meat from Ali, it’s always of very high quality. We buy lamb for grilling and steaks, and liver, hearts and tongue for national dishes from childhood.

Asked for a rib roast for Christmas dinner. Counter person not very friendly. Just shook his head and said they don’t have it and didn’t seem to know what it was. I saw a diagram on the wall and pointed at the rib roast. He went and pulled out a large chunk of meat and offered it to me. It was impossible to see what it was due to the shrink wrapping. He said that this was the rib roast in the diagram. On Christmas Day I was so disappointed in the quality of the roast. When I removed the shrink wrap, I saw that it was completely devoid of any marbling and the fat cap had been mostly unevenly hacked away. I would never go back and would not recommend.

Try the Ali Baba special RibEyes, wonderful fat marbling, tender meat, 10x better than what you could get from a supermarket in Copenhagen, and a good price... Make sure your get the steak cut at least 4-5 cm thick!
