Lovely place. Just beware Google maps has then in an incorrect location (in a school?)! They are in a white building by Sadolin across the street from the school gym. Delicious Christmas Eve dinner, set menu. Reservations required.

Best value for money new nordic restaurant in Copenhagen. Great food, all locally grown, farm to table.

I'd give this place 7 out of 5 stars if I could. I've been to Øens Spisested four times already, and plan to go back. The food is amazing with the menu changing according to season. Mostly local, sustainable produce (e.g. the geese are from the airport, shot to prevent collisions with aircraft) served in unapologetic Danish style. The staff complete the experience. They are helpful and passionate about the food and wine. The service is unrushed, making Øens Spisested the perfect setting for an evening with those you care about the most. Prices are extremely reasonable. You can get either a selection of dishes (about 100 DKK each) or 'a roundtrip of Amager' with a wine pairing (900 DKK for both food and wines). The place has nice decor inspired by Amager, and the acoustics allow for easy conversations - which really can't be overrated.

Most things were Ok, the scallop dish was excellent and the dear tartare was nice. It's a nice enough place and I might recommend it to others but not to foodies. If I go back I would just get the scallop and leave it at that. The water jug had me worried the plates and utensils would be dirty as it was covered in water marks. However everything else was spotless.

We trekked all the way from Copenhagen after getting a confirmed reservation for Christmas eve dinner. A staff member personally emailed us and said he’ll see us tomorrow. When we arrive, the restaurant was closed, and we had to head back in the rain on Christmas Eve. Very disappointing service and experience.

Danish modern kitchen, high quality, fast service, very fair price level. This is truly a hidden gem, this little place is worth a visit if you are in Copenhagen. Very cosy cafe, with only a few dishes, but high quality, on the menu that change day to day. Good selection of beer, soda, tea and coffee. The menu of the day was cooked to perfection and was very delicious and served fast and with a nice presented on the plate. Compared to the quality the price is extremely low, dish of the day was 80 kr -11 euros. They also serve a vegan/vegetarian dish of the day. Go visit you will not be disappointed.

Finally got a chance to dine at Øens Spisested as we celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was one of the most memorable meals I've had in a long time! We shared an Øen Rundt (8 courses) and Vegetarian (5 courses) menu and were taken on an incredible 3 hour food journey that celebrated local heritage (hello Amagermad) and produce (hi Jerusalem artichokes from the allotment down the street). An absolute hidden gem on Amager and we can't wait to come back.

I'm not sure about sharing this place because it's so nice and I would like to keep just for me. At the first look a restaurant inside a gymnast is not a good signe. But in real it is super nice inside and in summer there is also a quiet terrace. They offer super fresh and local good quality food for a super good price in cph. And they are really generous with the quantity. You have a 3 courses menu with start main, and desert. And to finish there is a super nice service. If I resume its one of the best place in Amager 🌟 🌟 🌟
