One of the best finds in Copenhagen! Maria, and her partner, are the sweetest couple who are always willing to sit you down and make your day. I had the pleasure of knowing all about the fascinating food journeys of the “pastel de nata” and the “empanadas” - that were all clearly freshly baked and made with love. Would definitely recommend this place to get a taste of something really special - from Spain and Argentina!

I was so surprised to find a shop making and selling Portuguese pastel de natas here in Copenhagen!! The atmosphere was so warm and inviting, and you could tell that the owners put so much care and joy into every part of their shop - I talked with the owner and he said that he and his wife created everything in the shop, down to even the pictures on their tables. The pastel de natas are SO fresh, so perfectly baked, not too sweet, and just absolute crispy perfection. Ed, the wonderful owner, is positively radiating with sunshine and his care, love, and joy for what he does is so evident in the food available there. He was also continuously baking the goods while we were there, so I think you will receive fresh baked goods no matter what time you go. I think the quality of the pastel natas is superb for their price - you can purchase 3 for 99 DKK. In addition, they are the only shop making and selling fresh pastel de natas:) I would recommend this place to everyone (although I don’t know how many options there are for vegans)! Ed and his wife also make empanadas!

Stopped by on a Sunday for a quick breakfast of pastéis de nata. The pastries were delicious and quite authentic for those who miss real portugese pastries. We were excited to find they sell Compal there too, so we had to grab some. The owner was really nice and friendly and while we enjoyed our food we could have a nice chat too, in the meantime the empanadas were getting ready to serve and the aroma and diversity was too hard to ignore so we had to grab some to-go for our lunch. We've tried the chicken, beef, and the spicy corn ones, and while all of them were delicious, our fave was the beef. 10/10 seasoning/flavour. Do give them a try. You won't regret it!

The Empanadas were very tasty, there is a broad variety of fillings for every taste. If you like your food with a little more kick you‘ll love the Chimichurri. The service was absolutely lovely, definitely recommend! :)

It was a pleasant afternoon there with a friend, delicious empanadas and cozy place. Fell in conversation with the owner Eduardo about food, Argentina and Copenhagen. Estuvo feliz!

Everthing was fresh & delicious, the pasteis as the empenadas. The coffee was also tasty and the people were very nice and lovely. Definitely a must try!
