Lovely newly opened café and restaurant in Ganløse in the city centre. Their coffee and pastries are perfect to end a walk in this beautiful area. It is also obvious to skip the trip on a bike ride. They also have legendarily good sandwiches, as well as menus for their restaurant.

Hjaltes Café offers high quality food, home baked goods and coffee right in the middle of the beautiful nature at Buresø. When you enter, it's like coming home to a cozy living room with a crackling wood-burning stove and fantastic furniture. You can tell that the place is run with love and passion, where there is room for a chat and always welcoming, friendly service. We got their smørrebrød, which is wildly delicious (3 pieces each with avocado, tuna salad and serrano). Extremely reasonable price. Nice selection of good beer and wine. This place is a gem where you don't expect to find one. Try the cinnamon snails, they are insanely good!

You won't get a better sandwich and Latte in the whole of North Zealand. Nicklas and Frederik have created a unique little place by Lake Buresø. And in a little while they will do it again in Ganløse ☺️

A really nice place. Hjaltes manages to have little but good on the menu, which is an art. The food always has power and taste. The coffee tastes fantastic. The warmest recommendations for my favorite café.

Nice place, we had the brunch and it was wonderful with a lot of small dishes, really tasty - at a really reasonable price. We will definitely be back and try more from the card. Great recommendation from here.
