I enjoyed a scrumptious traditional danish julefrokost (Christmas buffet). The interior was nicely decorated and really reflected the long-standing service of this relatively small restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accommodated our large party without problems. The buffet was divided into two parts, the first with different types of herrings and complementary toppings to be eaten with lard or butter on danish rye bread. The second and main platter included a variety of delicious danish recipes, from the fried plaice to the chicken salad, pork tenderloin in mushroom sauce, salmon, hand-peeled shrimp, glazed ham with a stunning salad and the roast pork with crispy top. The atmosphere was festive and relaxed. Really recommended. Almost impossible to get a seat without reservation.

Traditional danish food. Smørbrød. Aquavit. Great steak tartar. They are usually fully booked. Reservations are highly recommended.

Food was delicious and traditional and prices are reasonable. We had a small discrepancy between what we ordered and what was on the bill but unfortunately they did not handle that conversation gracefully.

Delicious Danish bread styles with different traditional toppings served in a tasty way. The food was amazing. The waiter even more so. He was welcoming us in a super mood, almost whistling, inviting us to Aquavit. Cheers, guys. Welcoming and refreshing experience with good food and drinks. Worth a visit! :)

Great and cozy restaurant in the heart of Copenhagen. We enjoyed a typical danish smørebrød plate for 4 and realy liked it. Friendly staff, good food and wonderful atmosphere.

Very nice atmosphere and charming staff, the food was excellent-so was the beer and the schnaps too. This will be my frokost-place every time I'm in Copenhagen.
