After enjoying a delightful dinner, we returned for brunch the following day. The food was delicious and the brunch platter offered an impressive variety. We felt full until dinner. The staff were really nice. It's a good idea to book a table because the place is popular. The only thing was that the tables were too close together, so we felt a bit cramped.

So good I went twice! Amazing vegan restaurant. I had the weekend brunch on my first visit and then the Danish “meatballs”. Both were fantastic. Great coffee as well. Would highly recommend if you’re a vegan (or non vegan) in Copenhagen!

Decent food with a few traditional Nordic options. This is the first place in Copenhagen I’ve seen with a solid vegan take on local dishes. I tried the winter stew and Buddha bowl and both were nice, but lacking in flavor. The Buddha bowl was better flavor wise. It’s mostly raw veggies, and the Brussels sprouts at least were tasty. The stew was what really fell flat. I did still really enjoy a warm stew on a chilly winter evening, but it really needed at the very least some salt. I also tried the traditional Christmas almond rice pudding (rislamande) and found it to be the worst out of the 5-6 vegan ones I’ve tried so far (lacked flavor and cherry sauce. The texture also felt like eating whipped butter with overcooked rice in it—not pleasant). Overall, it’s not a bad spot and I’d recommend it if you’re on the search for nice vegan food in central Copenhagen. I personally would not mind returning, but it won’t be at the top of my list.

Great cafe that serves entirely plant based food. I thought the mushrooms were super tasty but the double trouble burger needed a bit more sauce/juiciness but I’ll definitely be back. Very friendly staff, nice central location.

I had large Caesar salad. Could be a bit more tofu not only 6 pieces. The staff was lovely. The food was Nice in the end

Around the corner of Nyhavn you’ll find the safe haven of Bistro Verde. A cosy, small bistro which makes you feel at home. Partially because of the interior (wood, warm colours, personal touches) but for a large part it’s the smile of the waiters/waitresses. An open, friendly reception awaits. If in a group, it’s recommanded to sit at the back; a lively, more open space where you feel in a restaurant. When travelling alone, the small hint would be to sit at the bar. You hear the interaction between all the people around you and feel this is not just your typical tourist tavern. Time slows down at Bistro Verde, because the rush to go somewhere disappeares. You want to stay in the here and now.

We went here for dinner one evening and it was so great we came back for breakfast. Brilliant value for money (we paid more in other restaurants for less quality). Staff are so friendly and attentive we felt very welcome.

The food was very delicious! I really enjoyed the soup and the carbonara. The staff was very friendly and patient. The atmosphere of the little restaurant was very cozy and relaxing. This restaurant is completely vegan and plant-based. Allergies are clearly labeled on the menu card
