This is a must visit restaurant in Skovshoved/Copenhagen. We walked in without reservations but after a little convincing, we were offered a table. The restaurant was almost full. It was cozy, loud but certainly jovial. The patrons seemed to be having a good time and enjoying their food. We ordered the Rotisserie Chicken and the Cheeseburger. The half Chicken was cooked to perfection. It was moist and served with boiled potatoes and super flavorful gravy. The cheeseburger was the best I've had. The meat was of top quality, grilled over open fire which gives it that distinct "yummy" flavor. The side of fries was equally impressive. The service was friendly and quick. We enjoyed this meal immensely and therefore I highly recommend it for a memorable gastro experience.

Neighborhood favorite in winter and summer; lovely outdoor dining with a view to the harbor and cozy indoor space with pool table. Family favorites are the steak nicolai with crispy thick fries, salad and bernaise, and the burger.

Lovely local atmosphere. The best beer and good danish food. And the friendly staff will almost always find a table for You.

The food was ok even if it was a bit uneven reheated. The zombie staff was not so ok. They decided to close the kitchen early without notifying us. Even if they got our empty plates without a word fifteen minutes earlier. So no dessert. When I pointed out the fact to the waitress said the kitchen staff already left. But we could see them drinking beer from where we were sitting. Not a very great experience.

Used to be a nice place, but this Tuesday night it was way too crowded with customers all shouting on the top of their voices. We left for the neighbor's where we had a real nice meal and a quiet evening.

Great beer, great steaks, probably the best steak I've ever had. The most tender and of course great friends, but this is what I can't share 😁
