I visited Ragnar at the beginning of July with my MC to have an insurance claim made. After Ragnar took photos of the damage, I was informed that he would send them to insurance and expected to be able to repair it by mid-August. Expectantly, I waited for an update. When I contacted Ragnar at the beginning of August, I was surprised to learn that the report had not yet been sent to the insurance company. Although I found this a little disappointing, I asked him to send it as soon as possible. It is now August 30th and I have just been told (after contacting Ragnar myself) that "due to busyness" he still has not contacted the insurance. So I have had a damaged motorcycle during the best months of the summer, with no prospect of him getting his act together and contacting the insurance. Maybe if he kept his promises he would have gotten a better review - and a regular customer.

👎👎I can NOT recommend Ragnar Lauritzen!👎👎 I handed in my motorcycle in mid-February at Ragnar. It should have had LED lights switched on, and the steering and brakes should also be reviewed as I had messed with it myself. Ragnar said he could help. However, they were quite busy at the workshop before the summer season, and he could not tackle it as the first, and that it would take some time. I was never contacted by him regarding when I could expect them to start working on it. After a few months I start making contact and asking when they can start it. I always got the same answer that he can't promise that it could be finished for the next trip I had planned. Time goes by with more inquiries and always the same answer. Finally after 4.5 months at the end of June I am picking up the bike to find another mechanic as I never expected them to start working on it. I received a bill of approx. NOK 2,600 for 1 hour's work and a conversion instrument for the new speedometer, which I told them where to buy online. The 1 hour was because the tank was a little leaky and they stopped temporarily. (It's still leaking) They had put the spare part more than 50% above the real price. All in all, a bad experience where I didn't get anything for my money. I was not promised anything, but had I been informed that it would take more than 4.5 months before they would look at it, I would never have handed in my motorcycle to Ragnar. It was deliberately put at the back of the queue again and again. A little honesty would have been in order. But can't count on Ragnar, so I would stay away from here. - Uffe Kirkegaard

Great business with service and sales of equipment and used motorbikes. MC tours are organized 6 times a year with great attendance.

Came unannounced and was very well received. Ended up ordering new tires. Coffee and super nice service.
