A nice place with a lot of interesting spots to explore. There is also live music but the sound check takes hours. Just take a tour around the whole harbour area and talk to locals. They have a lot of interesting stories. Finish your tour with a nice cold beer in one of the pubs cq restaurants.

I got lost the last time I was here, to be fair it was dark, cold, past midnight and I was trying to find my way to the ferry on foot. Can't really blame the harbour for that. I made the ferry with a couple of minutes to spare and everything turned out okay. It would be lovely with more, or clearer, signage, from the train station to the ferry, in the future though.

Of all the harbours in this area, Køge is by far the most cozy of them. Pay it a visit, have a meal or a cup of coffee and let the water and the rustic feel calm your mind and invigorate your senses
