A lovely inn turned restaurant, with a long history. Built in the 1600s this places has been host to all manners of guests and events. You can’t rent a room any longer, so don’t get your hopes up for a genuine full fledged inn-experience. The atmosphere is very cozy, though the amount of paraphernalia gets a bit much in some places. Much of what I saw was either Danish royalty related or some family photos of sorts. The service was good and they treated us well, though they didn’t wow us in any way. Food wise, it was a bit underwhelming, considering what I was expecting of the place. The cod I had was quite dry, desperately needing the accompanying mustard sauce to be enjoyable. The sauce was decent. And the “salad” was a strange assortment with far too much horseradish. Combining the fish with the sauce, egg, onions and red beet lifted the flavor a little more. Almost reminded of your typical “sildesalat”, just with cod.

When we book and never aware it is buffet 😅 Not much choice at all…..3 different salads, then main course only beef & pork. Potato is too salty , pork is ok and sauces no choice at all 😮‍💨 Desert is good !!!!!!!! If they tell it is buffet, I won’t come for sure but music is ok ! Price vs food is way too high ! Not recommend

We had a great dinner in a rustic ambiance and were greeted by friendly people. I recommend the dish they only have on sunday to get a taste of some great Danish cuisine. By the way, the fish and steak were great aswell.

A great little weekend trip down memory lane. A very traditional Danish Kro with lots of events and different types of food deals depending when you go
