We walked into this lovely place thinking it’s a store and it turned out to be a unique concept of a chess club. The guys at the club let us in and helped us with a game. Very very nicely spent evening and a pleasant surprise to have stumbled upon.

I played there whilst visiting in Copenhagen, the place is mostly focused on giving the local youth the opportunity to learn, play and grow an interest in chess. I spoke with Henri who seemed to be running the show that afternoon, he was very friendly and gave a little background about the players and the purpose of the club. They welcome anyone to play, as an adult you're expected to make a small contribution to the cause in order to play. Please do visit this great initiative to show your support.

A good, pleasant and educational experience. I started playing chess when I was 23 and it was a really good environment both to start with and even now a few years later there is plenty of room to develop.
