The triangular site between Hambroesgade, Puggårdsgade and Kalvebod Brygge accommodates the extension of the Nykredit headquarters on the waterfront (known as the Glass Cube). The new extension is called the Crystal, has a floor area of about 7,000 m2 and provides room for about 300 employees. Unlike the row of straight-angled facades along the Kalvebod Brygge waterfront, the Crystal has sculptural influences and is elevated above ground level. The new building owes its name to its glass facade and its crystalline shape, laid out in the form of a ""Z"" and rising asymmetrically above the ground, 31 metres above at the lowest point and 34 metres above at the highest. At each corner of the structure there is an atrium to ensure an optimal intake of light into the building.

They say racism and misuse of other nationalities in Denmark is low. Well, if you want to experience the opposite, try to contact Nykredit and see how they treat you just because you were not so lucky to born in the country. Living, working and contributing to the country for over 10 years yet they make you feel you are a potential criminal who are here to stole their money. If you are a foreigner, do yourself a favor and look for another bank.

A very interesting building, modern architecture amazes even a tourist who has seen a lot in his lifetime. What is especially impressive is that when you walk among the gingerbread houses and castles of the historical part of Copenhagen and come across something unusual like the Nykredit building. In addition, opposite the building there is an excellent harbor with benches where you can relax while enjoying modern views of the city of Copenhagen. I advise all visitors to Denmark not to be lazy and still come to see such architecture. I express my special respect to the people who managed to bring this project to life!

Has been my Realkredit since 1988-2019 when I paid off my credit loan. Now have no debt. Has previously supported loans for home improvements. Recommendable.
