Classic Danish food in a really great atmosphere. Perfect for a meal in the sun on a summer day. Both dishes we got were huge and well made. A little expensive but it’s all about the experience!

Big portions. To leverage the most, you should bring some friends to enjoy more traditional danish dishes. I found local people came there to order pies and tea for a tea break as well. I was too full to try that :)).

Really nice family/dog friendly atmosphere! Waitress was professional and friendly and fast. I had Danish meatballs and potato salad w pickles. Three big fried meatballs and a LOT of potato salad. This was a nice meal, and the cold brew was served perfectly. I will be back!

I have been to Krøgers Family Garden many times, and I have to say, I have never met a waiter who wasn’t welcoming, in a good mood, and had a pretty good sense of humor 🤩 The food is traditional Danish dishes, which I used to love (don’t eat meat anymore), and definitely would recommend tourist to try. They might not look to appetizing at first glance, but they give you a taste of the Danish history/culture. Fat; salty; sour; savory; and sweet. A little bit of everything, and at the same time a little bit to much/heavy 😉 Since I’m a vegetarian, I didn’t come here for some years, but they have upped their game. Now you can actually choose from 1 vegan lunch option, and 2 vegan and 1 vegetarian dinner option. So that is really great ✨ This time I tried their breaded beat root/horseradish patty, with potatoes, grilled vegetables and pea mash. Delicious 😋

Very old but very charming place, very good Danish dishes and fair price. recommend for eating real Danish food. It should be remembered that I found this place while walking by chance in Copenhagen!!

Awful experience. We were there for a company Christmas lunch. We waited almost 1½h before the herring and eggs arrived (which takes 10 min to prepare), then we waited another hour before some colleagues went to ask someone about our food. They had been told that we should just leave. Still, they demanded that we paid full price for our meal that we hadn't received saying that we had been acting rudely.

I needed food after walking around so much. I did not know where to go. I looked for a place with many people, so I went into Krøgers. I was able to get a table though reservations are recommended. I could not believe how old this restaurant is. The service and food were fantastic. If you have kids, they is a playground in the back. The servers manage to successfully navigate around the toys. Pets are also permitted.
