Excellent lunch, from the first courses, to the wines and tiramisu! Extremely welcoming, approachable and knowledgeable staff (the chef recommended a perfect wine for the meal). Seeing tortellini being made by hand brought us home to Italy. Highly recommended!

If you're looking for authentic Italian pasta, then this is the perfect place for you. The pasta is cooked to perfection, the ingredients are fresh. The dishes also don't have too many ingredients, which gives them more flavour. The ingredients are all combined perfectly, with none overpowering the other. Furthermore, the owner is very hospitable and friendly and makes you feel welcome. It was so good, we went here twice during our short stay. Next time we are in Copenhagen, we will definitely be back.

At least once a week you have to come to Mattarello, whether for lunch or for an aperitif at the end of the day. From the flavours, you can feel that the raw materials are of high quality, you can notice the care taken with the product and the passion for good food. The environment is cheerful, friendly and easy-going, the attention to the customer can be seen in the kindness and smile with which you are welcomed. The dishes are the real Italian ones that you can hardly find, but which finally - for an Italian living abroad - make you feel less at home. Although they are all great dishes, my heart and belly have a weakness for the special with basil cream and stracciatella. A real drug for the palate 😍😍

What can I say... the light at the end of the tunnel!!! After days of nightmare food we arrive at Torvehallerne where some guys (Romans) prepare us an excellent carbonara and a cacio&pepe accompanied by a Campari Spritz... The prices are normal, in fact I would say Italian....

Amazing pasta cooked to perfection every time. For a moment you think that you’re in Rome as this spot is certainly up there with some of the better Roman pasta places. Service is super friendly and the wine is great! Tip: if you prefer your pasta cooked more or less than “al dente” just let them know! A shame that Torvehallerne starts to close already at 6.30 pm, so you have got to make it an early dinner or get there in time for lunch!
