Dinner experience at a Michelin starred restaurant. The service is good, the food is delicious, with an emphasis on the Italian origin of the chef. Оf the twelve dishes, two were oversalted, this is the only remark, perhaps this was due to the fact that the guys drank tea throughout the entire service. Well-chosen wines to accompany the dishes. Non alcoholic pairing are also interesting. Bathroom is clean and smells good.

Great food and nicely decorated restaurant. Better than some of the other Michelin restaurants with stars. Almost all the dishes came out beautifully and tasty. Just one tasted boring. The bread was so great. Will come back again.

We had the lighter version of the tasting menu. 10 dishes for about 500 dKr. A great combination of Italian and Nordic cuisine. The presentation were amazing, good flavours and a nice range of different things. The service was also good, very knowledgeable waiters, but I didn’t appreciate that we kept being presented with additional dishes and extra things we could buy. Happened about 5 times during the meal. I also think it is ridiculous that you have to pay for water, when you are buying a bottle of wine. And why can’t you buy wine by the glass? Or were we just not presented with that option? However I loved the location and the decor! So all in all it’s a nice place to try.

Absolutely spectacular. The level of originality and care of each dish was astounding, I've never tasted anything quite like it. The staff was very friendly and it was very interesting to hear all the ingredients in each plate. I'm also not joking when I say that, after going to the bathroom and leaving the napkin on the table, I've found it neatly folded when I got back. It's probably a bit of a clichè to say this, but Italians really do it better. (No offense to the only danish waiter, you were just as amazing.)

Wow, what a fantastic meal. And great service in a small, charming setting. Tasting menu is excellent.

Out of all of Copenhagen's Michelin star restaurants, Brace has one of the more reasonable chef's menus. Booking online, my friend and I reserved the "Taste of Brace," a seven course dinner for around $92 USD without a wine pairing. We ended up buying two glasses of wine each and our total bill came to $310. That's not bad for fine dining. Here's our experience: 1) Food: The seven course dinner started with two snacks- a spoon of Danish cheese and a waffle-type dish. Then the five courses commenced with hamachi with cloud berries, a cucumber rose, pasta, beef and dessert. In between the cucumber rose and pasta came a small load of warm bread with currant butter. Each dish was flawlessly presented. The winner was the dessert- bee pollen and cocoa butter mousse, seabuck thorn gel and star anise ice cream with a buckwheat tuille. It was so unique and each flavor brought out the best in the next. 2) Drinks: The women curated the wine told the story behind each wine from different parts of Italy. Not wanting to do the wine pairing, we asked her which wine would work with all the courses. She suggested an orange wine from a boutique producer and it was perfect. 3) Service: The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. 4) Space: It's near our first hotel SP34 and right near the center city. It's in a yellow house that looks more like a villa. The tables to the open kitchen concept was stunning and inviting. If you want a Michelin experience, consider Brace.

It is never easy for an Italian to trust Italian restaurants abroad but at Brace any stereotype is set aside and you can thus treat yourself to an Italian dinner revisited in a Nordic style. All very satisfying, from the cuisine to the service. The prices are in line with the city, therefore disproportionate for us Italians 😅

I was a bit disappointed with my experience there; maybe because I was expecting too much. The food was tasty, but not excellent. The biggest turning down point was one of the pasta courses and its corresponding pre-course (the ravioli with shrimp). Also, the service was too rushed and I felt like everything happened too fast. I decided to not go for the wine menu, but to have a Negroni instead. My drink was over and I was never asked by a member of the staff if I wanted something else. Besides that, the staff was friendly and nice.
