Who would've thought that this old beautiful building had such a nice atmosphere. My wife and I felt like dining in the 50s. Well prepared traditionel food paired with a very friendly staff. In the words of a famous actor now American governor: "I'll be back" 😎👍

I had a bad experience with the restaurant and would like to explain here. I wanted to make reservation there to bring some guests outside of Sweden. They said this is a special time of the year where they serve “Goose dinner” this is why they have reduced menu. I asked if it is possible some people choose goose dinner and sone from the menu. They checked with the kitchen and said it is okay. So I made the reservation. We arrived to the restaurant and we have been told that we can not go different, everyone either should go with the goose dinner or from the reduced menu. Luckily our guests were nice and did not make any problem. During the last times of the dinner, one of our guests stated that he will not have dessert and he was continuing his main course where we were waiting for him. He wanted to ask from the waitress that they can start serving the dessert because he will not have it anyway. What we got as a reaction from the waitress in rude way : “No, this is not how services done in the restaurants, everyone eats together.” I would like to remind that we were customers and we were trying to be helpful and we were definitely not there and paying the money to “learn the rules of courtesy”. Beside, it was a very dark restaurant we barely saw what was served. And a pretty expensive what was served as well.

was visiting Helsingborg, and was supposed to see the city with my wife, decided to find some food, and did not eat breakfast. We looked around a bit to find a place. the clock was 2 pm. so we don't expect to place with breakfast/brunch. came down one of the small streets. then divorced, and think that from the outside we could easily have gone, but see there are Swedish buy balls. when we enter we see it at first as an old inn. but discover when we get up to the first floor. we see a lovely first floor, as if we had come back 100 years, with fine furniture, light and cosiness. the food turned into brunch, and there was everything, everything was well made, it was always full. if you were to try it all, you should probably come 2-3 times. the service was great, and the price was too low, because when you come from Denmark, you easily end up with DKK 200 just for food. here it was far below and coffee and tea were included in the price. it may be that you can find someone who has been there before to write the place. and no didn't know the place before! will 100% come there again. greetings Ivan and Joys from Faxe

What a lovely place! I found it by chance…Tom Collins, Corpse reviver 2, sirloin, skånsk apple dessert! All wonderful! Server/bartender was very attentive and made the most delicious drinks. Ill be back!

Truely disappointed in my 3rd experience at Madam mustache because while I feel that the food with its excellent chef , beautiful atmosphere and overall relaxed presentation of the restaurant are excellent. The poor service of the incompetent server, who also serves at their bar cancelled out the experience. It is my opinion that he should be properly trained in hospitality service. Please leave your ego at home and humble yourself to the pursuit of serving people in a manner befitting for fine dining. 1. A request for z drink should not take 12 minutes 2. You should not lecture the guest about an honest mistake of finding a seat if you have not directed them. 3. You should not try to take away plates before the guests are finished 4. You should never direct a guest towards giving you an undeserved Tip by suggesting an amount ( poor taste and low level service) 5. Finally, please address your dental work as it is a distraction for your guest. It is my hope that you embrace doing a better job and support the organization by improving on these points. It’s a pity how one staff member can hold the entire restaurant accountable . Do a more professional job!! I will continue to support this fine establishment as I love the food and believe in its mission statement, however, I will request service from a different staff member. The waitresses seemed to be sharp and focused.

Absolutely gorgeous! What a lovely place. So atmospheric, so authentic. Food tasted great and service was excellent. Menu is slim and that's a good thing. But.. I was still hungry when I left.

I went there for a company dinner, the food was amazing and the place was super nice. I had a dish with handmade gnocchi, cheese and (I don't remember), it was awesome, then the cod with some sauce was very good as well. I really recommend this place
