Marios and his wife have a wonderful gallery right in the heart of Christiania! My girlfriend and I must have visited over 10 galleries across Copenhagen trying to find art that resonated with us to bring back home without any luck. Finally on our last day by happenstance we came across Marios’ gallery and were extremely impressed with the vibrant colors and Impressionism style of painting. Marios shipped the painting we fell in love with all the way back to the United States free of charge. And now we get to re-live our wonderful memory of our time in Denmark each day.

Colorful facade is striking your interest from far away. Small and cozy room display interesting art works from only one artist, Marios Orozco, who lived in Christianiahavn community for over 50 years. Depending on personal taste you might like some of the art works. Unfortunately most of them are quite pricy, don’t worry there are plenty of tourist price items that are replicas of smaller size of the original art.

Visited with friends inside the Cristiana neighborhood, unfortunately it was closed so we couldn't visit the interior, however it is an obligatory stop when visiting the neighborhood.
