Please disregard old less good reviews as a new chef has arrived.🙂👍🏻😄 And Wow that new chef Can cook delicious thai food 😋. Definitely the best Thai food I have tried in Denmark and with main dish prices of 105 DKK it cannot get any better. So far we have tried 6 dishes and every dish just seems to better than the other. Apparently the chef lady has a Chinese Thai background and that probably explains her wok skills and ability to do magic with both taste, texture, sauce, freshness and flavors. She gets out that wok smokiness. 🙂👍🏻The pad Thai has never been my favorite but their pad Thai is amazing with some ingredients being wonderfully caramelized together with that well balanced sweetness and soft tasty shrimps and eggs. Noodles have perfect texture and several dishes have distinct flavors that are difficult to identify.

Good that we have now some Thailand food in Frederikssund. In my opinion it is not best thai food I eat in DK. But it is OK. Pleace it self is like cantine in gymhall. But it is OK to eat there as well.

The Thai food was spicy on the mild, almost unpalatable end, but that is perhaps also necessary when the food is served in a sports hall. The deep-fried starter had a dull aftertaste of oil that has been used a few days too long, and the accompanying sweet and sour sauce from the shelves in Inco could have benefited from being supplemented with, for example, something strong. All in all, the chef has a lot to practice in this Thai restaurant.

Super nice staff and service, but unfortunately the most sloppy Thai food I have bought to date. My tip is to go out to Wok Gourmet Ballerup if you come by and want the best Thai food 🤗 ________________________________________ Elaboration, as I cannot answer you Jakob... It was yesterday, Tuesday approx. 17.20, my girlfriend came and collected the food from you. We ordered: - Red curry with chicken and vegetables - Egg noodles with chicken and vegetables - Chicken skewers 1. The chicken was very tough and dry, and wasn't marinated in anything, so the chicken itself didn't actually taste very good 2. Red curry was extremely mild, almost transparent, a bit strong, as expected, but not much flavor beyond that basically. 3. The noodles tasted fine, but again missed some seasoning on the chicken, or a good-tasting oil that the noodles were fried in... 4. Chicken skewers were good - nothing to go after there 😊 Maybe we just had an unlucky day. Because some of the pictures here show Thai dishes with a bit more color and flavor (from the pictures). Have heard good things about Kalvø (not including the Thai part), such a shame to have to make an overall assessment when we have already tried the Thai part. But the staff were really nice and sweet. Hope next time will be better if we give it another chance 😊

They have a good terrace with large umbrellas, so you can enjoy the summer while eating, drinking coffee or getting an ice cream.

We just tested the new cooker at the end of August 2023, it's excellent, we had a great time :)! She came to see us for a chat and explained that she cooked like she does at home. The dishes are hearty, very tasty, spiced just right (she asks first). There is a small terrace for eating outside when the weather is nice. You can go there without hesitation, we highly recommend.

A wide range of food products, everything from burgers and slushies to both strong and mild Thai food, contributes to a good assortment of dishes. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to the sizes of the portions you are served. (Ordered a curry and got enough for 2 meals) Really nice staff who are good at taking your order into account and what you choose from the dish. I can highly recommend it to anyone. (Hint: They serve the food relatively mild, so if you want a more spicy experience, you can tell the staff)

Visited Kalvø in connection with the Frederikssund festival. It was very busy, but really delicious food and good service. Thanks for the fight 🙃
