Small but cozy restaurant in front of the ferry. Serve open sandwich for lunch only, no menu. What a surprise ! Six different kinds of open sandwiches on a tray . Ingredients are fresh and the colorful presentation is really a feast to your eyes!

A wonderful old pub with good selection of open sandwiches from butcher Jensen. Selection of drinks is super and staff same. Photo show the open Danish sandwich and Borgerkroen has same standard

Came looking for food but was told there was no food or menu. Grabbed an ale instead so as to make the trip here worth it. Prices are pretty good and got a small beer for just over $5 USD. My guess is that they don’t start serving food until later? I got here at @ 4:30pm. Will head to Sweden for dinner I guess.

Great place for lunch if you want smørrebrød (Danish open sandwiches). Very friendly service. Tables inside or outside. Recommended.

If you would like to go to the most authentic, over one hounded old bar in Denmark this is the place to go, and the most awesome owners!
