This place is such a hidden gem in the heart of this gorgeous little city, absolutely amazing food by Jonas and his wife, spot on service. Appetit is must visit for any foodie adventuring away from the hustle and bustle and tourist traps of Copenhagen. Up here you can really live and feel the authentic Danish hospitality. 500% recommended

What a great evening! We had no prior knowledge of the restaurant but when we arrived - what a wonderful surprise: From the warm welcome to the final farewell, the evening just flowed. On arrival we were impressed by the warm, cosy atmosphere; the personal interior, the amazing solid wood tables apparently constructed from old Chinese doors. And, of course, the food! An exciting menu of five courses, wonderful flavour combinations, and a generous accompanying wine menu. The staff were as good as the food, a sociable gang who found time to chat (even the chef made an appearance), we loved them all and felt beloved by them. An evening we plan to repeat.

Appetit is a great place to visit if you’re looking for food or drinks in Helsingør. Very hygge. The meals are beautifully presented and the drink menu is well curated. The owners and staff were very friendly and made good recommendations so we could have a fine dining experience. It’s the kind of place we could stay all evening and would certainly go back to in the future. Thanks Jonas, Emma, Daniel and Simon! We had a great time.

Outstanding new establishment with a young, dedicated cook/owner who knows and loves his craft. Excellent all-around, wonderful dynamic menu with top quality taste, cozy seating with leg room, just a pearl. Great value and very affordable for what you are getting.

A new restaurant with an ambitious kitchen. We had a delicious meal, having dropped in without a reservation. The carefully curated and reasonably priced wine list is a plus. The room is meget hyggelig. Five stars, no notes.
