Dining at this place after dark allows you to forget where you are. If you are able, place your self opposite the bar facing the canal, and experience the lazy low faced Copenhagen high rising turn into a rocked landscape as the sun sets. If the sun is not setting, enjoy the view of old Copenhagen buildings. However, do NOT just come for the view. The view accomplishes the food spectacular. The well thought out flavor combinations, the wine pairings and the ambience is all working with you to achieve a wonderful experience. I will come back…

Had a superb lunch here after a boat trip around Copenhagen. We were greeted by one of the owners and the staff and food were both excellent. Meals were very well delivered and a lot of preparation, thought and craft we involved in making them. The setting is also wonderful. I would hope to go back another time if I’m back and would recommend if you are looking for something of quality. Thanks to all there for looking after us. Ward.

Bit of a mixed experience - I think we didn't need to order so much, 3-4 dishes per person isn't really necessary unless you are super hungry. Sweetbread was wonderful, the halibut foam thing...not so good...maybe it's a Danish delicacy and I just didn't get it? Truffle chips are not chips in Europe...but I should know that! The other dishes we shared were less memorable, just alright - and considering how expensive the place was, I'd prefer something better than alright. Copenhagen is a great city - but the culinary offerings were often short of our hopes.

The name does not do the place justice. The wines were good, but the place is a cold mix of concrete and anonymous interior. The waiter was friendly, but the place just did not invite 'nærvær'.

Good tasting menu. Wine is good, too. Price on the high side. Most watiers/waitress are friendly. Michael is exceptional who managed to accommodate a big group like us!

We were a group of 12 from work that had dinner at Nærvær with a fixed 3-course menu. The food was good but plates on the small size. I didn't like the desert at all. The staff was really attentive all times.
