I booked dinner for our anniversary. I love the fish dumplings with creamy sauce. The steak for my husband tastes also delicious. Dessert are also tasty. Creme brulee is not too sweet and another dessert is really refreshing. Chicken is really boring. It's like reheated food and so snails is really dry. The waitress are friendly. She served bubbles for us but the gas is flat so she give us a new one with more extra in glass. I ask for more bread but the waitress served it to the wrong table. She never comes back with bread until we finish all 3 course meal.

Authentic French and excellent food, great variety of wine. Small but pleasant. Be patient and enjoy. Reservation necessary.

it’s genuinely impressive how this is the most flavourless food i’ve ever been served at a restaurant, so i’ll give them that! the servers were so beyond sweet and kind, and they were super polite. unfortunately i had to add salt to every single dish, and the main course was quite literally 3 pieces of pasta with a bit of sauce. no adult person would be full from a 3 course meal here, me and my partner went home and made some nuggets to actually fill up. they also made us wait outside in the cold rain because they would not open their doors until the exact reservation time of 17:30, so bring a jacket

Le Basilic is my favourite restaurant in Copenhagen. It is very compact and charming. The food and wine is top quality. I find the price reasonable as you have the option of a set menu, which is good value for money.

Pro. The food was good and authentic. Had a menu which included super tender beef in an amazing sauce with truffles Con. It felt like a country style bistro from 30 years ago which had not upgraded their audio equipment past CD player and 5 CDs

The food is less than average. If you have the deal for the 3 course menu, the portions are made super small. My partner ordered a filet which was 60kr on top expecting a good size, but it was a tiny and average piece of meat. Drinks are expensive. Everyone has to order and eat at the same time, feels like a canteen. Can’t recommend at all unfortunately. 2 stars for the Creme brûlée, but that’s about it.

Very good food to the price. The wine pairing was ok, and in general a good place.

I've been to Le Basilic a couple of times, and I'm probably coming back. The food is honest and simple French cuisine, though not spectacular, and the menu flows with the season. Service and atmosphere is just fine, although it can be a little crowded and busy. But sometimes you have a craving for French food served in a dimly lit room, with Edith Piaff in the background, a fair selection of wines by the glass and you don't want to break the bank - that's what they do, and they do it good. BTW: Always ask about chef's current favorite on the menu, last time I ended up with a great cannelloni.
