What a disappointment. A few years ago this outdoor restaurant was a fantastic place. The restaurant's location is outstanding. But since then the menu has been significantly reduced, and the quality of the foods is not what it used to be. Their lovely desserts are no longer on the menu. Unfortunately Bjælkehuset is not recommendable anymore.

It is a great place to eat outdoors in a sunny day. The food is great I ordered a dish of danish meatballs, pan fillet fish and chicken salad absolutely amazing. I recommend this place.

We had some great meals in Copenhagen, but our visit here was the tops! Great herring. Better and fresher than any other we tried. The setting is magical and the service was outstanding.
